So you want to get into editorial work. It is a daunting task from the outside and it feels like the barrier to entry is far. But it really is much easier than you think. The world is so different now than say the 90’s when legendary photographers such as Peter Lindberg and Arthur Elgort were gracing the pages of Vogue with their photographs. With our accessibility to pretty much anyone, the editorial world is actually a lot easier to enter than you think.
Below I break down how to find the right contacts, what I emailed the editor, and how my first editorial shot in Paris, France came together.
